Description
The laser doesn't look like a real laser and players can only see it from 150m away. You can also adjust it from a small beam to a flood light in real life. Would be good if the beam with thinker and better looking, with the ability to see if from any distance.
The ability to change the width of the laser would be a feature, but I was just giving an example of it's capability. The ability to not see it past 150m is a bug and it looks like utter crap even if you are within 150m.
Here is what they should look like.

Can you please provide some reference (real world) and screenshot of the ingame issue
or do you mean you can see the laser dot only up to 250m?
Also read the wiki how to report a bug properly. Ty

The Ultimate Sniper and The Advanced Ultimate Sniper documentaries has real-life references to PEQ lasers, he points it at the sky and it just keeps going!

By all the love for reality, as from the point of view of the game, it sounds like a feature request.

Please read our wiki on the file types to attach. Huge BMP are certainly no good.

The fact that the beam itself only renders ~150ish meters from first-person is bad enough, but you can't even see it from further than that? That's very disappointing.
Testing in VBS2 shows that the IR lasers (similar length restrictions) display at least 1km away, though even they aren't really giving the impression that they're lasers and not just drab, flat textured rods.

- Reproducible for you set to No
Pilots ought to be able to use these to spot targets to other pilots. Never mind infantry not spotting them at 150m distant.
