Description
WP grenades and defensive grenade discharger on tanks should block IR.
History

I wonder if using an invisible 3d model with the Ti layer as the particle will work.

What about particles with TI feature, if possible? Or did you mean that?

Yeah I meant using a 3d particle (spaceobject vs billboard) and see if it works.

I just wanted to make clear WP blocks visibility of NVG and all other IR optics but has likely no effect to thermal imaging.

It is hot so it should block Thermal imaging.
"The White Phosphorus flame produces a hot, dense white smoke composed of particles of phosphorus pentoxide, which are converted by moist air into phosphoric acid."

And most tank discharger have a IR part to the there mix.

In fact defensive grenade discharger should hurt personnel outside the vehicle.

I just want to help AV with newer laser and thermal guided weapons.

It does not block thermal imaging.
You're still mixing IR with TI.

You right sorry. Very few defensive dischergers can block TI.
Can it at lest block laser rangefinders? That would make it more effective in OA. Maybe make it give the flashing 0's as a return?

Only the very modern stuff can block thermal. I have no idea which tank use it on a regular basis.
