Updater Suite reaches v0.9!
New Features!
- Gamespy master server list browsing (Direct access to 100's of servers!)
- Full search- and filter-ability
- Find mods by server, or servers by mod!
- Read the current list of servers directly from gamespy
- Including Ping and Country (where possible)
- Auto synchronizes when you access the Main page and sync was longer than 30 minutes ago
- You can sync manually on the Main page, Synchronization section, and click update_gamespy. A new window should open, please wait until done, and click Main again. You can now access the list.
- Join servers directly from the updater, incl. the server required mods (Don't forget to pick an Action with "Join Server" included, or it won't do much)
- Only mods that are available on the updater network, or are otherwise already installed
- You can access the gamespy servers directly from the Mainpage, "server" field. Or otherwise click "Browser (# servers)"
- You can save passwords, automatically used when connecting to the servers
- You can set servers to favorites, and later filter on favorites to easily join and access the server
- Hit "Refresh" at a server to actualize its information, even including Players, their names, teams, kills and deaths!
- Hit "Show" at a server to see all available details. If you hit refresh and it was sucessful, players are also shown.
- All selection and editing actions on relationships like Presets, Servers, Mods, Settings Profiles, Actions, etc. are now ajax fields with 10-per page selection, and search
- All lists are sorted by record names by default
- Fixed encoding issues
- Improved performance of Main page
- Many minor improvements

Further improvements and tweaking planned for soon!
Gamespy functionality requires uninstalling previous versions and installing the latest setup

Make sure Six-Updater\tools\gslist.exe is allowed in firewall (will fetch gamespy server list and information)

Upgrading¶
If you upgrade to the new version without removing configuration database, you will have to give yourself permission to the new table:As always, good idea to make backups :)
- Please click "Configuration", select "System data" and click "Reset".
This will restore all system tables, incl permissions and roles.
